10-year warranty on steel structures

This is a translation. The German version is legally binding.

1. Scope of the warranty

The warranty applies to steel structures built by Cachena Sport and covers material and manufacturing defects that impair the stability or intended use of the steel structure.

The warranty period is 10 years from handover or delivery of the product.

2. Warranty service

If a valid warranty claim exists, Cachena Sport decides after inspecting the damage whether the affected steel structure will be:

• repaired,
• restored, or
• replaced with an equivalent component.

3. Not covered by the warranty

Excluded from the 10-year warranty are in particular wear parts, padding, ropes, mats, floor coverings, coatings and paintwork, and other components subject to natural wear.

Also excluded is damage caused by improper use, overloading, incorrect installation by third parties, unauthorised changes or modifications, external force, lack of maintenance, unsuitable environmental conditions or improper storage.

4. Conditions

A warranty claim requires that the product has been used as intended. The original purchase or order must be verifiable to Cachena Sport.

A possible warranty case must be reported to Cachena Sport in text form without delay once the defect is discovered. Photos, videos and further information about the product and the damage may be requested for inspection.

5. Statutory rights

This warranty is a voluntary additional service from Cachena Sport. The customer's statutory rights in respect of defects are not restricted by this warranty.
